1. Donutes Coffee & Bakery @ Bandar Puchong Jaya
Don’t get fooled by the name, the shop they don’t just sell donuts, they serve coffee, teas, cakes, and pastries. The café is cozy, comfortable, and clean. Their WiFi connection is stable and there are ample amounts of power sockets. A plus point is that they are open 24/7!

2. Jeq In The House @ Section 17
Situated conveniently along the shop lots at Section 17 (same row as Kanna Curry House), the café grabbed our attention because of its cute vintage bicycle outside of the cafe’s window. The ambiance is cozy and laid back, the café is furnished with wooden furniture, oak coffee tables and quirky stools.

3. The Augmented @ SS2
With their simple and minimalist interior, this place is absolutely a lovely space to check emails, or get your creative juices flowing. They have WiFi, comfortable seats, and sufficient number of sockets. The only negative part is the lack of parking spaces, nonetheless this place gives you a wonderful work-from-home/café experience.

4. Chequers @ TTDI
Chequers is a eatery with a warm atmosphere that serves heavily American influenced waffle dishes, from breakfast, lunch to dinner. You can see a spiraling staircase right at the centre of the café (we still wonder where that leads to). It’s highly recommended to visit this place at off-peak hours so that you get to enjoy its cozy and peaceful ambiance.

5. Porto Bello Café @ Damansara Uptown
Porto Bello Café is not merely just a café, as its name suggests, the place serves a variety of mushroom related meals, as well as coffee, and deserts. The café is complete with comfortable seats and it occupies a cozy space serving western food with a modern Asian twist.

7. J&D Espresso @ Bandar Utama
Delicious food and a cozy environment makes this hidden gem in Bandar Utama the perfect place to work in or to simply just enjoy a good fulfilling meal. Apart from that, its homely welcoming vibe is certainly an ideal place to get some work done.

8. The Bulb Coffee @ Damansara Jaya
Light bulbs represent ideas, that being said, The Bulb Coffee gives you the inviting atmosphere so you can stay longer to get your creative juices flowing. In fact, the owner of the café shared that he designed this place while keeping young professionals in mind, so the café is equipped with fast WiFi connection and its quiet atmosphere is good for collecting your thoughts.

9. Ojo Coffee @ Bangsar
Ojo (pronounced as Oh Joe) has the right lighting, suitable for photography lovers to take photos, and their table are mostly mounted on their white walls. Additionally, each table is prepared with its own power socket so you can have it all to yourself.

10. The Front Door @ Jalan Sultan
Situated at the same premise with Grocer’s Inn, the presented interior is designed with bricked walls and unfurnished cement floors, which gives it a very old school and vintage-ish feel. The place also attracts many backpackers from Grocer’s Inn who stop by The Front Door for food and to surf online.

Opened by a magazine-editor-turned-baker and a former-banker-now-banoffee-pie-princess, the main attraction of this place would be its fairly simple design and decor of white chairs, white walls, oak wood tables, with an orange frame separator.
